Course Outline:

In ‘Working Together to Safeguard Children (July 2018)’ all settings are advised of their organisational responsibility from Section 11 of the Children Act 2004:

'Chapter 2'

“…practitioners should be given sufficient time, funding, SUPERVISION and support to fulfil their child welfare and safeguarding responsibilities effectively. …appropriate SUPERVISION and support for staff, including undertaking safeguarding training.”

ECP provides this specialist supervision by NSPCC-trained staff with over 20 years’ experience in the field of child protection. This will enable professionals to reflect on their own practice and the impact of cases on both the victim and themselves as frontline staff who work with those children who have suffered abuse.
